It may look like an hourglass, but we don't recommend flipping it upside down, unless you're pouring out the water. If you do ever flip it over, for whatever reason, make sure you've removed the worked 14mm bowl from it. That's right, a recycling bubbler for dry herbs. The Perc chamber in the center is what we've dubbed "the hourglass perc," and goes with a recycler like cookies with milk. The Recycler spins the smoke around the pipe, while the hourglass perc spins in from top to bottom, then through the recycler arm.
